No matter how on top of our schedule we try to stay, the holidays seem to go by so fast. We always end up with a ton of Christmas parties, gift exchanges, and holiday dinners to attend every year and don't want to keep bringing the same ol' dessert. You too? If, like us, you’re the type who wants to bring something to each and every celebration, you’re in luck—we’ve got a festive dessert here perfect for every occasion. Check our list of 95 must-make holiday desserts—we’ve got everything from classic showstoppers like Christmas cookies and cakes (spoiler: pie’s not just for Thanksgiving) as well as easy bars, balls, and bites.

When it comes to Christmas desserts, cookies get ALL the attention, and for good reason: the variety of options is truly is something we look forward to all year, and we've included some favorites here, like our gingerbread cookies, our panettone cookies, our cookie brittle, and more. We’re here to tell you, though, they aren’t the be-all, end-all of holiday bakes. There are SO many more options to keep your house smelling great and stocked full of treats all season long.

Having guests over and want to blow their minds with your bake? Try our Italian struffoli, our Christmas tree cake, our bûche de Noël, our baked Alaska, or our chocolate peppermint cheesecake. Want something shareable, that’s not the same old cookies? Try our lemon cranberry cheesecake bars, our Christmas tree brownies, our sugar cookie bars, or our mini eggnog cheesecakes. Want a poppable sweet for a party? Make our Christmas fudge, our eggnog truffles, our homemade peppermint patties, our buckeyes, or our bourbon balls (adults only!). Don’t have room in your oven for a big to-do, but still want to impress? Make something chilled, like homemade ice cream or a no-bake dessert. Our peppermint ice cream, our Oreo pie, our Biscoff trifle, or our hot chocolate fudge will always be winners, even when it’s freezing outside.

For us, gingerbread should have a lot of ground ginger, a bit of cinnamon, and a tiny amount of cloves. It's the perfect Christmas formula. But if you don't have cloves (or really loathe them), you can just leave them out. As for the ginger, it's necessary but negotiable. Feel free to use less.
