If you're not watching the YouTube series BBQ Pit Boys, you should be. The group posts multiple videos a week of masterfully—and off-the-walls, gchat-the-link-to-your-friends-with-20-exclamation-points—cooking videos each week, ranging from how to make Fireball Whiskey-spiked Pumpkin Pie to the proper way to barbecue a 5-foot alligator (stuffed with andouille sausage cornbread, of course).

Their recent take on burgers, though, may be their most mind-blowing yet—and it's totally doable for the average backyard griller to tackle, as long as you're into living on the edge: Beer Can Bacon Burgers.

Yup.

Beer cans + bacon + burger. But don't let the name fool you—there's so much more in these patties than the three essential B's of grilling.

The Pit Boys recommend using 85 percent lean ground chuck to make the burgers. You start out creating 3/4-pound meatballs with the chuck, then you stick a can of beer in the center, like you're making a ground-beef koozie for it.

From there, the burgers are gloriously wreathed in bacon—"bacon sticks like glue!"—to help the ground chuck hold its shape, and the beer can is removed. Stick those in the fridge while you grill up the fillings, which could be everything from peppers and onions to, well, everything.

That's beef hash, mushrooms, grilled onions, green and red bell pepper, tomato, chili, bacon and roast beef they're using. (The ribs are a mid-meal snack, since these suckers take an hour to cook. Perfection takes time, people.)

Once filled, they're topped with cheese, hot sauce and barbecue sauce, and grilled.

Wait, why are we wasting your time?! Just see it for yourself:

If you feel like buns are for amateurs, try enrobing the burgers in mashed potatoes, like they did.
