Not-so-hot take: There's NOTHING better than peaches in the summertime. We look forward to their sticky juiciness all year long—honestly, they’re practically sweet and special enough to serve as dessert all on their own, but where’s the fun in that? Whether you agree and want an extra-simple sweet treat (hello, peaches & cream), or are looking for a spectacular, show-stopping summer dessert, we’ve got a recipe here for you. Check out our best peach desserts for ideas—peach season is short, so don’t let it pass without baking with this delicious stone fruit!

When it comes to a quick and easy fruit dessert, you really can’t beat a warm peach alongside some vanilla ice cream. You can bake your peaches in the oven, or (our favorite!) toss them on the grill. If you’re not an ice cream fan, try them with a drizzle of honey, olive oil, and sea salt too.

Looking for something more involved? There’s classic peach pie, of course (ours has bourbon in it!), or one of the myriad crustless pie options, like a peach cobbler, peach crisp, or a peach crumble. Whatever you call them, they’re all DELICIOUS with peaches.

The best part about these recipes? You don’t have to have perfectly ripe peaches to make them. Firmer peaches withstand heat better, so you’re actually better off using underripe ones for many of these recipes. If you’re worried the underripe fruit will be lackluster, try pairing your peaches with other fresh summer fruits like raspberries, cherries, or blueberries to enhance their flavor. Check out our raspberry peach upside-down cake, our grilled summer fruit skewers, or our blueberry peach cobbler for ideas—sweet peaches truly go well with almost anything.

Peach Crumble

The riper your peaches are, the sweeter and tastier this easy fruit dessert will be. If your peaches are a little underwhelming to begin with, the lemon juice will help perk up their fruitiness, so don't skip it!

Grilled Peaches

Nothing beats a ripe, sticky-sweet peach. And while you can just bite right in, cooking with peaches is killer. For grilling, look for fruit that is a little firm. Too ripe ones will caramelize too quickly on the grill and burn.

A creamy no-bake pie that’s studded with peaches is just what your summer needs. The gently cooked and fresh peaches really highlight the summer fruit, and the salty pretzel crust puts it over the top.

Our favorite thing about upside-down cakes? They're impossible to mess up because you can place your fruits just so before pouring the batter on. It's always a joy to see how they turn out once you flip them—they always impress. Just look at those raspberries and peaches!?!

Peach Crisp

The addition of oats to the topping is what classifies a crisp, and it is, hands down, the best part. The oats also gives you a motive to debate its ability to qualify as a hearty breakfast, and not just dessert (though maybe skip the ice cream in the morning 😏).

Brown Sugar Peach Cake

This is really a peach cobbler in soft and buttery cake form, with sweet peaches studded throughout. The frosting is a brown sugar boiled icing, much like you would find on a Texas sheet cake. Pour it on while the cake is still warm, so it soaks in as it cools, then can harden into a delicious, sweet topping.

These baked peaches are roasted low and slow to bring out all their natural sweetness. That means, even if your peaches aren't perfectly ripe, they'll still be super-delicious. Topped with a big scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream, we can't imagine a better warm weather dessert. 😍
