Everyone thinks a root beer float is a relic of childhood—and it is, really. But when it's super-hot outside, nothing satisfies a sweet tooth as well. So we dreamed up five delish ice cream soda combos, drawing on our love of s'mores (have you caught on to that yet?), iced coffee, and strawberry lemonade. Which one will you make first?
ORANGE CREAMSICLE ICE CREAM SODA
Love creamsicles? Make this pop-inspired ice cream soda: Place two scoops vanilla ice cream in a glass and top with orange soda.
S'MORES ICE CREAM SODA
For the real s'mores obsessor: This root beer ice cream soda combines vanilla ice cream, root beer, graham crackers, and marshmallows for some next-level s*it. Place two scoops vanilla ice cream in a glass and top with root beer. Sprinkle with crumbled graham crackers and mini marshmallows.
SHIRLEY TEMPLE ICE CREAM SODA
Shirley Temples still rule, even when you're an adult. Place two scoops vanilla ice cream in a glass and top with Sprite or 7-Up and spike with grenadine.
MOCHA ICE CREAM SODA
Coffee + chocolate = two of our favorite things. Drizzle chocolate syrup or Nutella on the inside of a glass and add two scoops vanilla ice cream. Top with iced coffee and a little seltzer, then add whipped cream (if you feel like it).
