When it comes to pizza, innovation is key. It's a crowded market, and connoisseurs are always on the hunt for the most perfect pie out there. We've seen out-of-the-box ideas before, especially from Pizza Hut, which got our mouths watering with news of tater-tot crust and even hot-dog–crust pizza. But now we think Little Caesars may have surpassed Pizza Hut in the race to peak crust craziness.

Behold, the Stuffed Crust DEEP!DEEP! Dish Pizza—a Detroit-style, deep-dish, square pie rimmed with a stuffed crust that's exploding with 3.5 feet of cheese sticks. The new pizza, which has just been released for a limited time, contains 70% more cheese than their regular DEEP!DEEP! Dish but only costs 2 bucks more ($10 + tax), which is pretty much the only math we care to do. It will also be available HOT-N-READY daily from 4–8pm.

The miracle was dreamed up when customers said they wanted even more cheese, and the Midwestern chain promptly answered their plea. Bless them. Like the original, this pie is topped with mozzarella, Muenster and pepperoni and boasts 8 corner pieces to capitalize on the best part of Detroit-style pizza: the shatteringly crisp, outer edge of caramelized cheese, which gives way to a soft and chewy inside.

All we can hope is that the chain catches up to Domino's pizza robots so we can have this delivered to our mouth ASAP.
